Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · October 06, 2026

At Omadraft ("Omadraft", "we", "us"), the privacy of the people who use our services, and of their personal data, matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect your personal data when you use the Omadraft app for iPhone and Android or visit omadraft.com (together, "the Services"), and the rights you have over that data.

1. Who we are

Omadraft is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about it at support@omadraft.com.

2. Lawful basis for processing

Depending on how you use the Services, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: to provide the Services you have signed up for, including drafting, scheduling and publishing your posts, showing your analytics and, if you use it, sending job applications for you;
  • Consent: for example, for the newsletter, for push notifications, and for any optional information you choose to give us; you may withdraw consent at any time;
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the Services secure and reliable, to prevent misuse, and to improve how they work, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires us to process or keep information, for example for tax and accounting.

3. What personal data we collect

We collect personal data when you use the Services, including:

  1. Account information: your name, e-mail address and the identity you sign in with through LinkedIn.
  2. LinkedIn information: the details and permissions you allow when you connect your LinkedIn account, the access needed to publish for you and, on plans that include it, analytics for the posts you publish through Omadraft.
  3. Content: the ideas, drafts, edits, scheduled and published posts and media you create or upload in the Services.
  4. Writing style: information about how you write, which we learn from your answers to our writing-style questionnaire and from the changes you make to drafts, so that drafts sound like you.
  5. Job application information: if you use jobs auto-apply, the information you provide for applications, such as your CV, work history, the roles you are looking for and your answers to application questions, together with a record of the applications sent for you. Any equal-opportunity information is optional and is used only if you choose to provide it.
  6. Billing information: your plan, your usage of it, and records of your payments. Payments are processed by our payment partners.
  7. Device and usage information: information such as device identifiers used for notifications, app performance and crash information, and how the Services are used.
  8. Newsletter: your e-mail address, if you subscribe.
  9. Information you send us: the content of messages you send to our support team.

Our free LinkedIn post formatter works entirely in your browser: we do not receive the text you type into it.

4. Children

The Services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

5. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected: in particular, for as long as your account is open and we provide the Services to you. We may keep some information for longer where we are required to do so by law, for example to meet accounting, tax or regulatory obligations, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

6. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  1. provide the Services, including learning your writing style, preparing ideas and drafts, scheduling and publishing posts with your approval or under the settings you choose, and showing your consistency and analytics;
  2. find suitable roles and send job applications for you, if you use jobs auto-apply, using only the information you have provided;
  3. create and manage your account, process your plan and payments, and communicate with you about the Services;
  4. send the newsletter, if you have subscribed;
  5. keep the Services secure, detect and prevent fraud and misuse, and fix problems;
  6. understand how the Services are used and improve them;
  7. comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Some features use artificial intelligence. To produce drafts and applications, the relevant information is processed by our artificial intelligence service providers, and, when drafting, the Services may search the web for current information related to your topic. Output generated with artificial intelligence can be inaccurate, which is why, by default, you review drafts before they are published.

7. Your LinkedIn account

We use information from LinkedIn only to provide the features you use, and in line with the permissions you grant. You can disconnect LinkedIn in the app at any time. Your use of LinkedIn is also governed by LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy.

8. Sharing personal data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers who process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions, such as providers of hosting and storage, notifications, app analytics and crash reporting, e-mail delivery, artificial intelligence, and payment processing. They are bound to protect it and may use it only to provide their services to us;
  • LinkedIn, when we publish content for you or retrieve information you have allowed us to access;
  • Employers and recruitment platforms, when an application is sent for you through jobs auto-apply; they handle the information you submit under their own privacy policies;
  • Where required or permitted by law, for example to comply with a court order or legal process, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, to protect the rights, property or safety of Omadraft, our users or others, or to investigate suspected fraud or misuse;
  • In a business transfer, as described in section 13;
  • With your consent or at your direction.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  1. Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it, together with information about how we use it;
  2. Rectification of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  3. Erasure of your personal data, for example where it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw consent on which the processing relied, or where it has been processed unlawfully. We may decline where we are required to keep it by law or need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
  4. Restriction of processing, for example while we verify the accuracy of your data;
  5. Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to direct marketing;
  6. Data portability: to receive personal data you have provided to us in a commonly used, machine-readable format;
  7. Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it;
  8. Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or with the data protection authority where you live.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@omadraft.com from the e-mail address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

10. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Omadraft newsletter, we use your e-mail address to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can also ask us to remove your address by contacting us.

11. Delete your account

You can delete your Omadraft account in the app: go to Settings, then Close my account. If you cannot use the app, you can request the deletion of your account and personal data by e-mailing support@omadraft.com from the e-mail address linked to your account.

12. How we protect personal data

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires us to.

You can help by keeping your account and your LinkedIn sign-in secure.

13. Business transfers

If Omadraft is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of all or part of its business, personal data may be transferred to the successor or acquiring organisation, which will continue to protect it in line with this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We review this Privacy Policy from time to time and when our Services or legal requirements change. The updated policy takes effect from the date shown at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we may also let you know through the Services or by e-mail.

15. Contact us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal data, contact us at support@omadraft.com.
