Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Omadraft ("Omadraft", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Omadraft app for iPhone and Android and the website omadraft.com (together, "the Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. You need a LinkedIn account to use Omadraft. Your account is personal to you; you may use it for yourself and for the organisation you lead or represent, through your own LinkedIn profile.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Please tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission.

2. The Services

Omadraft learns how you write, suggests ideas, prepares drafts of LinkedIn posts in your voice and publishes them on LinkedIn with your approval or under the settings you choose. Depending on your plan, the Services also include analytics for your posts and jobs auto-apply. The features and limits of each plan are shown in the app and at omadraft.com/pricing.

We continue to develop the Services and may change, add or remove features from time to time.

3. LinkedIn

The Services act on your LinkedIn account through the permissions you grant, which you may withdraw at any time. Your use of LinkedIn remains subject to LinkedIn's own terms. LinkedIn may change or restrict what applications such as Omadraft can do, which may affect some features. We are not responsible for decisions LinkedIn makes about your account.

4. Your content and publishing

Your content. You keep ownership of the content you create or upload in the Services. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and publish it only as needed to provide the Services to you.

Drafts prepared with artificial intelligence. Drafts are suggestions and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing them and for everything published in your name.

Approval and hands-off publishing. By default, nothing is published until you approve it. On eligible paid plans you may choose to switch on hands-off publishing, which allows Omadraft to publish drafts within the posting times you set without asking each time. While it is on, you remain responsible for those posts as if you had approved each one. You can switch it off at any time.

5. Jobs auto-apply

Jobs auto-apply is available on the Professional plan.

  • Authorisation. By switching on jobs auto-apply, you authorise Omadraft to look for roles that match your settings and to submit applications in your name, in line with the rules you set.
  • Accuracy. Applications are prepared only from the information you provide. You confirm that this information is true, complete and up to date, and you agree to keep it so. Where an application asks for something your information does not answer, it is recorded for your attention and decision rather than answered for you.
  • Your choices. Some applications ask for confirmations or optional information. You decide in advance how these are handled and may change those choices at any time.
  • Third parties. Employers and recruitment platforms have their own terms and policies, which apply to your applications.
  • No promise of results. We do not promise that any application will lead to an interview, an offer or any other outcome.

6. Plans, billing and renewals

  • Plans. The Starter plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you buy, in naira if you are in Nigeria and in US dollars elsewhere.
  • Payments. Payments are processed by our payment partners.
  • Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If a renewal payment cannot be collected by the end of the period, your paid plan ends and your account moves to the Starter plan.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel in the app. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Changing plans. Moving to a higher plan on the same billing period takes effect immediately and is charged at the difference in price. Other changes, including switching between monthly and yearly billing, take effect at the end of your current period.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled in line with applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to one, contact us.
  • Price changes. We may change our prices. Any change will apply from your next renewal after we tell you about it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • break any law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
  • publish content that is false, misleading, defamatory, hateful or harassing;
  • send spam or impersonate any person or organisation;
  • submit job applications containing information you know to be untrue;
  • breach LinkedIn's terms or those of any employer or recruitment platform; or
  • interfere with, probe, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, or copy or reverse-engineer them.

8. Our intellectual property

The Services, including the Omadraft name, logo, software and design, belong to Omadraft and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights in them other than the right to use the Services in line with these Terms.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable, but we cannot promise that they will be uninterrupted or free from errors, or that posts will always publish at a particular time. We may suspend the Services temporarily for maintenance, security or reasons beyond our control.

10. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not make any warranty that the Services will meet your requirements or produce any particular result on LinkedIn or in your job search. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Omadraft is not liable for any direct/indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, opportunity, reputation or data, arising from your use of the Services, including any action LinkedIn, an employer or a recruitment platform takes. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Closing your account and suspension

You can close your account at any time in the app (Settings → Close my account). Our Privacy Policy explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why before we act.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms take effect from the date shown at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we may also let you know through the Services or by e-mail. By continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This does not affect any mandatory protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
